What IS CAMERA READY ARTWORK????????
Having the right artwork makes all the difference in how your promotional product will turn out. The highest quality, sharpest artwork will make the best imprint on a product. Since there are many different types of products and processes used to decorate them, there are also different methods of acceptable artwork formats. We prefer art to be emailed. We realize that getting or creating camera ready artwork may be bothersome, but once we have your camera ready artwork on file, you will not have to go through the process again. We keep art on file for 2 years.

Camera ready artwork is artwork that can be scanned without further touch up, preparation or changes. All artwork should be color separated and registered to size.
If the artwork sent is not completely camera ready, we can try to touch it up. We can do simple typesetting free of charge. However, if there is extensive work that needs to be done, our art department will let you know if it can be done and what additional charges would be involved to make it camera ready for you. Production times listed may be delayed depending on the quality of artwork submitted to allow time for our artist to make the artwork useable for you.
Camera ready art IS NOT faxed copies, letterhead, business cards, photocopies, hand sketches, imprinted merchandise, or any other artwork which needs to be touched up, color separated, or made one color. However, the graphic artist that created the above items for you would probably have the original artwork on file that WOULD be camera ready, so don't despair!!
*We cannot accept artwork from your website
as web graphics are low resolution and NOT suitable for imprinting purposes.*
On disk or via email we accept:
PREFERRED: Adobe Illustrator- .eps, or .ai files; Please convert all text and graphics to outlines or paths. All artwork must be color separated by layer. Please include the exact PMS number if you need an exact match. Otherwise, your order may be on hold till we find out what imprint color you need.
Adobe Photoshop - .eps files :Only can be used if doing a 4 color process graphic. Must be done in CMYK format. Type must still be in vector format.
The resolution or dpi should be set at least 800 dpi when creating camera ready art .
* NO GIF, JPG , CGM ,PUB, BMP, WMF, DOC OR PICT FILES!! * ( the resolution is too low for an acceptable imprint)
* SEND A LASER PRINTED PROOF WITH THE DISK. IF ARTWORK IS MORE THAN ONE COLOR - SEND PAPER SEPARATIONS WITH THE DISK, AND IF IT IS FULL COLOR- SEND A FULL COLOR PRINTOUT.
NOTE: IF YOU CHANGE THE FILE EXTENSION OF A FILE NOT ACCEPTED TO ONE OF THE ABOVE EXTENSIONS, THAT DOES NOT MAKE THE FILE MORE USABLE. WE ACTUALLY NEED THE FILE CREATED AS ONE OF THE ABOVE FILE TYPES.
